President message

It is with a great personal sense of pride and fulfillment that I address each and every member of central Zone. I express my special thanks to the previous leadership of the Central zone for the growth of the association in all those years.

Twenty-three years (23) years ago, who would have thought that our zone will be an strong force in 2023.Evolution of Central Zone of Indian Orthopedic Association has been a result of contributions through hard work, sincerity and dedication of our founding fathers. Our senior members have contributed by sharing their acquired knowledge and experience over the years. My most optimistic hopes for future lies with the most enthusiastic youngest generation offer their contributions with new ideas and try to guide others in their direction by presenting and publishing their research.

Being the president provides a great chance for me to work with the outstanding members and brightest brains of this association and I will request you all to work with me for the growth of the association and its member at large. Currently CeZ membership stand around 1400 and I would like to see those numbers increasing along with increased fellowship and training opportunities. We can take leaf from our parent body (IOA) and increase training and teaching opportunities for the surgeon. In lieu of my theme for this year “sound basics with modern technology for best training and patient’s outcome”, I will look forward for more basic courses, training and teaching opportunities this year.

I would like to thank you all once again for electing me and bestowing me this honor.
